So what career should I be looking at?
1. Composer
2. Special Effects Technician
3. Casting Director
4. Comedian
5. Musician
6. Magician
7. Makeup Artist
8. Auditor
9. Certified Public Accountant
10. Legal Secretary

Editor came in at number 18, and writer at number 34!!!!

I've been a legal secretary, for three hellish years. All the others have me chuckling - the first seven all in the entertainment industry - hmm, maybe that's how I could have gotten to meet........ (see another post)

Interesting batch of responses.

*snorts with laughter*

I had a few goes at it, too, and the first time the results were so out-there that I didn't post them.

Methinks there is a lot of difference between 'I don't like this' and 'I wouldn't mind putting up with this if... (insert some pay-off here)'. I think that's the nuance being lost in tests like these.

Precisely.

It's like being cross-examined in a court - you don't get the opportunity to explain the circumstances, just a yes or no! (and yes, I have been cross-examined in a court, by the judge no less!)

Looking back it was quite funny but at the time it was very nerve-racking. I even managed to get an entire jury dismissed!

You see I'd been called up for jury duty and got empanelled. I was sitting there in the courtroom listening to the evidence and looking at the bloke sitting behind the defendant (the defendant's dad) and thinking that I knew him from somewhere. Turned out it was bloke who subbed for my husband at that time (ex-hubby now) and I felt terrible about being on the jury. Don't know if he'd recognised me or not.

Anyhow, when we got taken out for a coffee break I made the mistake of mentioning my concerns to the other jury members, only to discover that we all came from the area where the offence had taken place.

When the sheriff came to take us back to the courtroom I told him my concerns and that I'd like to be removed from the jury, so when we got to the courtroom he made me wait outside while he discussed it with the judge, then I was taken in and put in the witness box and had to take the oath and then the judge questioned me, so I wasn't really cross-examined as such but I felt like such an idiot for telling the other jury members because when the judge asked me if I'd said anything to the others I had to say Yes.

Jury got dismissed, case held over to another day!

Can't recall if the defendant's father said anything to my hubby or not, but I still think I did well to get an entire jury kicked out *grin*
